TOP GADGETS 2015

Several new inventions and ideas have appeared last year –  from “delivery drones” to Google Glasses.   Some succeeded and some still need to be improved. We are very excited of what 2015  will bring new to the world market. 

1. Ring gesture control device

Who wouldn’t like to feel like Harry Potter and control different devices using gestures? The idea is not new, however, for the first time the gesture controlled devices do not rely on a camera only.  Previous versions were less effective.  Ring takes a different approach by using Bluetooth. Just imagine what could be achieved if making gestures such as pointing, swiping or drawing shapes in the air would immediately create a reaction!

 2. 3D scanners for everyone-

The Year 2014 was full of success stories where 3D printers helped to speed up building houses or duplicate items.  However, for a normal user it was not accessible. How much easier it would be just to take an object’s picture and print in 3D? This is exactly what Fuel3D decided to do. It breaks the barrier between a normal user and an engineer. The future investment has already found many investors and its first models are already available.

3.  FLIC – Wireless smart button

Tired of tapping screens on different devices? Why not use a new smart button that one can set up to do anything. This modern looking device is connected to a special app that can execute three actions – clicking, double-clicking and just holding.

4. Batteries

Basically every new device is as good as its battery lifespan! We all face problems when we expect our mobile phone to work longer than its specs show or at moments when our  camera’s battery finishes just before we have managed to take that last picture.  Well, solar power seems to be a good solution. There is also the new idea of using kinetic energy where  devices use energy from our own movement.   It is a particularly good solution for a wearable technology that is built directly into clothing. A perfect solution for executing an exercise regime in 2015!
