World’s Tallest Building Plans Delayed

The construction of the world’s tallest building in Changsha, China has been put on hold until April 2014.

SkyCity is expected to reach 2,739 ft into the air and provide accommodation and recreational facilities for around 4,450 families.

A reason for the delay has not been released but the cost of the postponement is expected to stretch the budget from $625 million to $855 million.

The construction of SkyCity is remarkably only due to take 6 months.
