Swimming pools that will raise your adrenaline

Summer is approaching and frequently  we can notice that in our crowded cities, new apartments are being sold often with  adjacent swimming pools .

However, it seems to me that the more eccentric the project is, the more recognition it gets. From a variety of amazing and scary projects- Smartglass decided to mention a few below.

1.       Wiel Arets’ Jellyfish House

A Dutch architect designed a huge aquarium-like project with a cantilevering to 9 meters pool,  weighing in total nearly 60 tons.  There is terrace underneath it that subdues direct sunshine and  allows quests to have a glimpse as to who is swimming above their heads.

2.       Mirage house by Kois Associated Architects

A Greek architect designed an amazing swimming pool that is on the roof of a private property and offers exceptional sea views. We would like to see a sunset from that point!

3.       360º Building by Isay Weinfeld

This unsecured paddling pool is situated high at a residential complex in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It looks very inviting,  however  safety cautions should observed due to the lack of any protective barriers.

4.     Sky Condos by DCPP Arquitectos

A residential block in Lima, Peru, was designed for the bravest residents. Several swimming pools do not have any additional security measures and look more like trampolines.  High excitement guaranteed!
