Sainsbury’s Supermarket – Waste free

Sainsbury’s Supermarket  is keeping its promise and opened a facility producing power created from burning bio-methane gas.

This in turn comes from food waste  which is collected from several stores around the UK.  This minimizes the amount of waste sent to landfill.    Sainsbury’s Cannock store will be the first one to use this innovative technology that would help the brand to become fully green. At the same time the waste issue would be fully resolved.
