OMA Win Miami Beach Job

OMA have beaten off strong competition from rival firm BIG to earn the contract for the Miami Beach Convention Centre.

The Dutch firm collaborated with property developers Tishman and UIA, local architect TVSdesign and landscape architects MVVA and Raymond Jungles to design the new complex.

Included in the design are plans for a new 800-bed hotel to be built on top of the existing convention centre.

The project should be completed in 2018.
