North Korean Airport Design

Kim Jong-un has selected the design that he wants for a new civilian airport in Pyongyang.

The Hong Kong firm, PLT Planning and Architecture, are responsible for the drum-shaped terminal which is designed to replicate of a traditional Korean drum.

The project will cost an estimated $200 million and is seen as a ploy to attract more tourism to the largely closed off nation.
