New Flying Car Concept

A compact design for a four-seater flying car is being developed by American firm, Terrafugia.

The hybrid vehicle will be capable of vertical takeoffs from the owner’s driveway and flights of up to 500 miles.

Terrafugia have already produced a two-seater equivalent, called the Transition, which made its first successful eight minute flight last year.

The new concept is expected to be available for purchase in eight to twelve years.
