Jet Pack Gets Test Flight Go Ahead

New Zealand’s Civil Aviation Authority have permitted Martin Aircraft Company to conduct test flights of their latest jet pack product.

The tests will be limited to a height of 6 metres and in an uninhabited area.

Martin Aircraft plan to introduce these jet packs to the military and emergency services by mid 2014.

They will then look at a commercial release in 2015 with each jet pack retailing for roughly£130,000.
