Hovering Building, Miami

A design by New York-based studio, Dror, has won Dawn Town’s 2013 landmark Miami ideas competition.

The unique structure, called Miamilift, juts out over the Atlantic Ocean and gives the illusion that it is peeling away from the water beneath.

The building will function as a retail, restaurant and café, theatre, media library and exhibition space.
