Hotel Staff Housing Complex

As part of the $30 billion Makkah Development Plan, there is a proposal to create a purpose-built hotel staff complex.

The gated community will cater for up to 25,000 employees and will include facilities like schools, a hospital and plenty of retail.

The pool of hospitality staff working in Makkah is expected to rise to nearly 700,000 by 2022.
