Electronic Luggage Tags

British Airways have developed a reusable luggage tag that can be updated for each flight via your Smartphone.

By waving your Smartphone over the device, you will be able to transfer flight information and generate a unique barcode.

Staff at the check-in desk then will only need to scan the tag before accepting the luggage.

This will save time and materials by avoiding the traditional paper tags.

BA plan to test their new device at Heathrow Airport, London later this month before general release next year.
