Capsule Hotel in Paris

Did you ever travel to a capital city finding out that your accommodation is far away from its centre?  For many reasons budget hotels are often located outside of city boundaries.

What would happen if more and more accommodation facilities were being built outside of a city? It might naturally lead to a decentralisation effect, where shops and other amenities are in short proximity, nevertheless outside of the city centre. Apart from a few reasons, such as Monuments, Museums or events (Concerts, exhibitions), there would be no real necessity for a tourist to head for the city centre.

Paris1

French architects MenoMeno Piu designed so called capsules that could be centrally located in the  city of Paris and actually became an attraction for tourists. Each capsule would be located along the Seine River. Their great location and views would be guaranteed. It is not a surprise that steel and glass would be the dominant material used to build this temporary construction.

The design would include one or two bedrooms, a secure entrance and  bathroom. We just wonder when it would be available.
