Booking a hotel using Google Glasses

Developed for Google Glass, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has introduced a new SPG app that leverages this emerging, wearable technology platform.

This new experience will enable quests to explore the Starwood’s design-led brands: St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W, Westin, Le Méridien, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft, and Element. This App is specifically helpful for mobile travellers with a new view as they can book stays at nearly 1,200 hotels worldwide. The app was built entirely by Starwoord’s internal tech team with the goal to deliver an easy to use destination tool.

What we like about this app is that it keeps detailed information safe, keeping track of previous information. In a way it is a “touch less”  way of searching, as it is done using one’s voice only.

“Travellers are more tech-savvy than ever before and wearable technology is the newest platform that provides information in an easy to access way to support the needs of our guests and enhance their travel experience,” said Chris Holdren, SVP SPG and Digital for Starwood Hotels & Resorts
